As your local Conservative Electoral District Association (EDA) for Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke (ESS), we are affiliated with the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC).
Whether you are a CPC member or not, you are welcome to partipate in our local events, volunteer, donate, and/or communicate with us at ESS.
We encourage our supporters to join the CPC. Membership not only helps the party financially, but as a member, you can (after a minimum period of 21 days following your membership purchase):
- Vote at the EDA's Annual General Meeting for the Board members you want to represent the EDA
- Stand for election to be a Board member for the EDA
- Stand for nomination for selection as the Candidate for MP in the next election
- Vote for your preferred Candidate in the Candidate nomination process
- Apply to be a Delegate for ESS at the CPC Convention (Delegates vote on party matters, such as policy)
- Participate in the Delegate Selection process
- Attend the CPC Convention (as a Delegate if selected by the EDA, or as an attendee if not a voting Delegate)
Membership is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents.
